Understanding Our Process

Injury
Whether from sports or accidents, recognizing mTBI symptoms like headache, dizziness, or behavior changes is vital. Vigilance and seeking medical attention promptly are key.

Initial Evaluation
Whether at the ER or with a pediatrician or urgent care, thorough assessments are conducted, including neurological exams and imaging tests if needed.

Where We Come In
After confirming an mTBI diagnosis, we step in with personalized home visits. Our community paramedics (CPs) provide follow-up evaluations and elevated medical advice to support the child's recovery journey.
Community Paramedics (CPs)
Specialized Training for
Your Child's Unique Situation
Our Community Paramedics (CPs), who are trained by concussion experts, undergo intensive training to ensure that they can offer the best possible evaluation and advice to your child. This training provides them with the skills and knowledge necessary to identify the subtle symptoms of mild Traumatic brain Injuries (mTBIs) in children as well as conduct thorough assessments and track recovery progress. Our CPs learn from experts in pediatric concussions to gain valuable insights into the latest advances in mTBI treatment. They can then provide personalized care and guidance tailored specifically to your child's needs. This empowers families to face the challenges associated with mTBI recovery.
